BENJAMIN ELI BYRD FAMILY
Benjamin Eli Byrd (12/22/1877 - 3/2/1947) was the son of Richard Daniel & Elanor McGee Byrd. He married Rosa Katherine Stevens (3/10/1886 - 8/15/1955), daughter of Joe & Piety Johnson Stevens. They raised 10 children together and are buried in the Coats City Cemetery, Harnett County, North Carolina.

Leddie Etta Byrd (3/17/1916 - 6/28/1990) was the daughter of Ben Eli & Rosa Stevens Byrd. On 9/25/1932, she married John Allen Holmes (6/5/1911 - 3/26/1988), son of Jesse Allen & Lessie Ivey Holmes, in Dillon, South Carolina. They raised 5 sons together. Leddie & John are both buried in Devotional Gardens Cemetery in Dunn, North Carolina.

He married Hettie Holmes (3/27/1914 - 4/18/1985), daughter of Jesse Allen & Lessie Ivey Holmes, in Harnett County, North Carolina on 10/14/1933. They raised 2 children together. Newton & Hettie are buried together at Coats City Cemetery in Harnett County.
